Starting to Share More Thoughts
Until now, I’ve been pretty quiet on LinkedIn.
Back in the dot-com days, I was fully immersed in building Yahoo! Mail, and ever since, I’ve been a bit wary of getting swept up in social media. More recently, after a personal loss, I took a step back and spent three months in silent meditation. That pause gave me perspective, and somewhere along the way, I found a few things I’d like to share.
Over the years, I’ve coached a wide range of leaders: CEOs and general managers of multinationals, lawyers, elite athletes, and senior government officials. My work brings together peak performance and clinical psychology. Sometimes, it’s about stretching for a gold medal or bold new vision; other times, it’s about healing from clinical issues, like depression or trauma. But often, it’s both.
I trained at Stanford, did my postdoc at Harvard, and spent years teaching leadership at the National University of Singapore. After all that, most of what I’ve learned comes from sitting in quiet rooms where people feel safe enough to be honest. That’s where real change begins: when insight meets courage.
So, with all that said, I’ll be sharing more of my thoughts on leadership, psychology, performance, and the strange, often chaotic overlap between all of them. I hope it resonates.
If you’re still reading, thanks. Let’s connect. I’ll try to make it worth your time.
